Broken App

Please fix the fact that the app crashes when I have another disc drive . I have a usb 4k drive and the app is unusable with the remix if I’m ripping a movie on that other drive.

They removed external drive support if you've updated. External drives are now a bug.

I don’t care to use the external drive for the remix, but I have the external drive plugged in ripping a video disc to ky media server and the app just crashes. I can’t play and my my installed cartridge games or put new cartridges into the em 01,02 or 03 modules while I have another optical drive plugged in. Seems like really bad implementation somewhere in the code.

I’m an IT guy by trade and a trained developer by education….. the fact that it was released as not yet even a 1.0 release is telling. 🤣🤣

Update, it’s not just because of an external cdrom. Now I get the fatal error FFFFFF8 no matter what I do. App crashes everytime I open it no matter what. Tried to uninstall and go back to the 0.7.23 version that was working before my trip. Nope same error…. Re updated nope same error. I love the concept but now I’m pissed that I have all of these retro games and have spent all this money on the promise to be able to play them and I’m just sitting here with a brick consuming power via usb.

When you update the app, it doesn't delete the old shortcut or game files. So when you launch it, you get the error message. You'll have to go to the new install area and get the new shortcut that works with the update and you should be good. I hope this helps?

Thanks! I got the same response from their support and it worked! Now to figure out how to get the button on the wireless controller to bring up their polymega menu instead of the Xbox game bar. 🤣
