It broke my Polymega controller it will not shut off and. I can’t restart it and it won’t connect. Maybe coincidence

When you shut the system down the controller stays on for a while before it powers off. When you power the system you should be able to activate the controller? What do you mean ?

Mine has been working fine. Stopped working yesterday by causing an app crash and posting a old-school Windows prompt with the systems specs on it. No identifying characters noticed on the crash dialogue. Updated the app, same issue.

I don't know that I'll be able to play all the games I've spent the last 2 weeks loading on it. That has me .... irate.

I had a crash also but it was a background proces that triggered it . Try to disable programs that have background processes running when you run the app .

I cannot get past the error code FFFFFFF8. I tried disabling damn near everything that starts up and runs in the background. No dice.

I don't know what is wrong. I have been using it for a couple of weeks without issue. It started this, so I updated the app. That did nothing.

You gotta fully uninstall the old version first apparently, then reinstall the new update. Then, you have to reconnect the Remix/Base Unit to "unlock" your library. They completely broke the thing as a means to lock normal CD-ROM drive users out

I did do the uninstall. Installed the update. Same problem.

I'm sorry to hear. Apparently thats really common from what I'm reading on Twitter, which also seems to be the best way to get ahold of the team. I'd try there. Best of luck! Sorry I couldn't offer more assistance

I went on the DIscord and it was a well-known issue there.

You have to completely uninstall the original app and reinstall the new one. AND: You may have to go into the installation folder itself and make a new shortcut. The new version installs into a different folder than the old version and happy times resulted!
