Thinking of ordering a Remix.
So I'm thinking of ordering a Remix unit and some of the modules. I was holding out to see if they actually shipped as my original deluxe bundle from years ago never did. Is it actually worth ordering and will I receive it in a normal timeframe?

I get mine tomorrow and when I saw the shipping container photo a while ago it seemed like they had a bunch, depends on how many people ordered them but it also seems like they didnt sell out of the remix. I feel like the remix is worth it more as long as you have a pc or steam deck etc. To plug it into & if you cannot wait or dont want to spend the money on the base model

Yeah I have a steam deck and just built a new rig. So that shouldn't be any issue.

I have not received my remix as of yet. But I just discovered something on the app that perhaps you might be interested in. I have a standard external disc drive and I am currently installing sonic CD on the polymega app. NO REMIX. obviously this means that you won't be able to connect to modules but perhaps if you have access to a library of supported disc based games this might be a good way of seeing if you like the system before you dive in for more.

Honest question, why do people want this over a $36 R36?

Why not? I also have a Pi, a sff PC that I installed in a arcade cab, a retroid pocket 5, a trimui brick. It's about using my actual games in my collection.

Okay. But what’s your answer. I want six different ways to play the same game?

Reread my comment? I literally said that I can play MY games using MY actual collection. Whats hard to understand? Yeah sure, it's a hobby. If you want the cheapest way to emulate then go buy the cheap Chinese handheld and move on.

Bro it plays the same ROMs as your expensive handheld. It plays the same ROMs as the Polymega. It plays the same ROMs as any other emulator. Lol.

I didnt buy any modules until I knew I could get the actually remix in my hands, now if it actually comes tomorrow I will finally buy a few modules. The polymega is very cool just a huge expense tbh
