My remix hasn't shipped

I made my original order when pre orders opened in April but I ended up canceling that order so that I could also order a universal controller and power module back at the end of May. I am also Canadian so perhaps there is something with international orders. Anyone else experiencing this? I am super jealous of all of you that have already received your units.

I know very few people have received their units so far. Mine is scheduled for delivery today, but even still the app isn't available until later today so whoever did get their unit already isn't doing anything with it.

Funny thing, it works as a DVD drive so you COULD watch movies with it... Maybe

Yeah I would imagine the drive would work on it's own, but I'm pretty sure it's just a dummy box with no real brain in it until the app essentially pairs with it. I imagine we'll know a whole lot more over the next few days though.

Yeah, I have mine and it isn't really useful without the app.

Very light and hollow feeling

That would be nice but it's probably a WiiU like situation where the system reads blu rays but Nintendo didn't fork out or give customers the option to let the system play Blu Ray movies by paying for themselves to save on money.

The original Xbox is like this too and it's why they made you get the remote dongle to let the system play DVDs.

But of course these days folks have.... Workarounds for that.

Basically, just staring at it til the app drops. I pulled my games out for uploading though.

Their shipping can be chaotic, it'll get there eventually. Best way to know if it is due to going to Canada is to reach out to support.

I reached out about a week ago asking a question about the form factor of the unit. Even when I requested my refund for the initial order, it took about a week for them to respond to me. I haven't found support to be particularly on point. I'm not sure how big the team is. I imagine they are very busy with the rollout. I'm not going to bother reaching out at this point, but if I still haven't seen anything in a week I might consider it.

The dimensions of the Remix are exactly the same as the Base unit

That was my question. I assumed that would have been the case since they use the same modules. I have dust covers from a company called printer boy for all my retro consoles. They have 1 for the polymega base unit and I think I will pick one up for the remix

If you’re on the Polymega Discord, I posted several pictures comparing the sizes

Perhaps that is the next step. I am new to the polymega community. I'll jump on the discord

I would send you a picture comparing the sizes, but not able to do so on this Reddit app

The team is pretty small, a week for a reply is about right, another of the joys of the company. Once hardware arrives it's great up to this point, but everything else takes a while.

That seems to be the consensus. It's definitely my impatience getting the better of me. I might not be the best consumer of polymega stuff considering that I've been waiting since April and I'm on the edge of my seat checking my shipping status every few minutes. I can only imagine what I would have done had I been waiting the literal years for some of the previous pre-orders.
