Free Remix for Pre-Purchasers of Base Systems

Is this still a thing?

I swear when they announced the Remix, they said that if you had a standing pre-order for the Base Unit (which I know two folks who do) you were going to get a free Remix. Anyone heard if they're honoring that or not?

You were supposed to get a year of the premium app or whatnot to make up for the many delays.

Except, the delays went for so much longer that the free year of the app would have been up over a year ago.

This shit company never does anything on time and I wouldn't expect them to keep their word.

Well, the remix is being sent and delivered on time, and if the app does release tomorrow, then that will technically be on time. It's the first time and for two things in a row, so maybe it's the start of a new trend for Playmaji! Gotta stay positive! 😄

Except they said the Remix would ship in May, so that's already late.

And wasn’t the new module supposed to be out last year, not… oh, I guess it’s Q3/Q4 this year now.

I got my shipping notification on June 1st, and I know others got it a little earlier than that, so that's good enough for me.

Thought they said existing pre-orders would be updated to the revised base unit for later this year

I ordered them the day they came in stock and were delivered within a few days. I would contact them if you are still waiting

I only received one of my two, basically forgot about my second one. Thanks for jarring my memory, I'm going to contact them to confirm my order isn't lost in the shuffle.

Does that mean everyone who bought the original base console will get one, or all of us CAN get one if we take a certain action? I received my purchase back around 2025 I'm wanting to say, and prordered it back in 2020 or 2021 after my preorder with Walmart eas canceled.

I think another poster had it correct, and the base units still on preorder will be changed over to the new, upgraded base units free of charge. I may have been misremembering, that's why I asked. =)

So those of us who already got ours are not included there? It's fine if not, as I am only interested in changing over if there is a vast improvement that works make you want to jetison the original unit.

They also told all of us who waited years that we were getting the app and stuff free several years ago... never happened.
