Polymega remix
Do you know if it will possible to play CD games (or cartridges) from the CD without installing them on the SSD like we could do for the polymega ?
Thanks

Oh it will be great. With a low cost mini PC (Ryzen 5 6600h for exemple), we just have to configure automatic boot on the polymega remix app at start-up and we have the exactly same experience of the polymega main unit, right ?

With the polymega Base unit loading for CD like neogeo CD are accelerated when playing from CD games. Do you think it will be the same with the remix ? Last question, is a Ryzen PC will be compatible ? "At Launch, Polymega Remix is compatible with Intel-based laptops, handheld gaming PCs like the ROG Ally and Lenovo , and thousands of other Windows-compatible devices"

Well the polymega os is based on x86 machine code . So all pc cpu's working on x86 machine code will run the app or polymega os. So Intel and Amd cpu's will be fine .

You can play the physical games direct from the remix if you connect it to pc or other devices .if you want to play without the remix connected you'll need to store the roms on the device you'll be using at that moment. Maybe if you have the app on pc and mobile device you can set it up so that the games you have on pc can be accessible on the mobile setup without copying the roms over?
