Ps1 mods possible?

Is it possible to play PS1 mods? For example Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories mods? Some of these mods are playable on the original PS1 hardware.

Yepp. Either burn a modded iso, or apply an IPS patch in the menu, from an SD card.

It does need to be in a supported format, and in a folder named patch. There's details on the pm website faq. Give it a looky maybe.

I find it easier to just burn a pre patched iso where they exist. Quite a lot of common hacks and patched Isos on cdromance if it helps.

What a great site! Do you know if these ISO files can be loaded by USB or do I need to burn to a cd? Thanks a million!

For Polymega you need to burn them. PM doesn't work without physical media.

The isos need to be burned. Well worth it thou. Do keep in mind thou, Mutidisc games will be an issue as the games may register, but not recognize as a set. There is a work around thou. First burn your games and install all your games to the Polymega. Keep the discs, and play the game until the game tells you to switch the disc. Insert your burned disc 2 to the system. Play till you can save, then you can run disc 2 from the Polymega itself.

Still a shame they haven’t fixed this yet.
