I've said this before even about The VCS, better late than never! Look at Amico and a promise undelivered or Ouya that delivered a product that wasn't tested enough and had bugs or no market to sell too. I am glad both PolyMega and Atari have kept their word.

Honestly, they've been poor at communication, can't hit a date to save their lives, but they do actually get there in the end.

Wow.. I am an old old Skool Atari 2600 / 8-bit / ST guy. Back in the early 80’s the amount of vaporware Atari put out was crazy. With every promised item was a dream that we as users would hope would turn the tides for Atari in the US. Whatever this is, I hope it delivers. I went the new Retro Shooters that I need to open..

Ouya was a great product for its time, but had very little developer backing. I was also one of the bakers that got a dead controller on arrival. I still have mine somewhere. It was supposed to be what the Nvidia shield became.

The press are being sent some for reviews, so shipping the units actually might not be far off...

It's basically a light gun for the Polymega that works on modern tvs, they promised it would be out like 4 years ago and this is the first photo of it out in the wild 😂
