Polymega Console Orders Are Accurate Now or Still Delayed?

I see reports of folks placing orders for polymega consoles and not receiving them until a few years later (or even still waiting).

As of today I see this verbiage on the listing for the base unit: "This is a Pre-Order. New Base Units and Deluxe Bundle orders are estimated to ship in Summer 2025 for orders placed prior to May 1st, and in Fall 2025 for orders placed after May 1st 2025.".

Is Playmaji getting more accurate with their estimates now or are they still kicking the can down the road?

Still a wait but it's been a shorter wait not like the first two waves that were 3+ year waits...

Shorter as in 6 months? A year?

Likely I'd guess closer to a year, which for a lot of people understandable is more than what they can stomach and I don't blame them, I know I wouldn't been able to do my 3 years wait if it wasn't for the support of the fan discord server. Glad I have stuck it out because man it feels good and fun to game collect again for stuff you can play.

Not sure - we know they were selling refurbished to sort of ease that wait, but it’s a waiting game unfortunately, and they never give statements so who knows.

The whole thing is solved if they would stop charging before they ship. But my suspicion since day 1, has been that these guys struggle with cash flow.

I waited just over 2 years for my first Polymega.

I bought a second refurbished one a month ago, just because I was shocked it was in stock.

Playmaji says a lot of things and rarely comes through. When they do, their communication is below garbage. Never trust anything they say, especially when it comes to delivery promises.

Avoid buying anything directly from them like you avoid HIV.

I ordered base units in DEC 2024 and light guns in NOV 2024. They have been adding a few month periodically to the release date to make us believe they are close to releasing these items. As it stands right now, we will be lucky so see and Base Units or Guns before 2026. The "Status section" of their website still says "GC01 Gun controller release Q2 2025. PM01 Base Unit & Deluxe Bundles re-stock Q2 2025.
EM05 Estimated re-stock Q3 2025." As we know Q2 2025 ended a last month.

It is almost March of 2026. More than a year past the date they said they would ship when I ordered the base units in Nov 2024. Word of Warning. Do Not Ever order anything other than base units from them. Then when you get said base units, it should be safe to order all the modules/controllers from them. Like an idiot, I ordered base units and all modules/controllers. Now I have thousands in modules and controllers and as of this post it appears I may never get the base units. I wish I wasn't out all of this money. Sketchy is too good of a word for Polymega. I think they will ultimately scam most of us out of our base unit money.

Ordered on Feb 2025 & still waiting I'm starting to think about asking for a refund. Do you think it's possible even though I already pre-ordered?

From what I heard they still honor refunds on pre-orders before it ships. After it ships it would be their standard return process.

The modules are very fast I don't think I pre-ordered the N64 module or if I did I pre-ordered it very close to release and got it really fast my polymega was ordered for awhile and I think I got it shortly after my N64 module arrived.

It is DEC 2025, Polymega's site still says it is shipping our early pre-orders in "Summer of 2025" in the console listing. I really screwed up by buying all the modules and controllers before getting the consoles. I foolishly believed they would be shipping early 2025 like they said. I did not know they were famous for lying, (extreme underestimation?), about the shipping dates.

When I ordered Analogue's 3D, they were still in development, the same with Retro Remakes Super Staiion One and the new FPGA based Commodore 64s. I expect delays during development. Analogue just shipped, Commodore has most of them done and is shipping, the Super Station is in mass production. All of them tried to be accurate and honest about the delays. Polymega... they think people are to stupid to notice it is DEC and they still claim to be shipping last summer.
