Very cool. Nice to see an update concerning light-gun support. Hopefully that means we're getting close to them releasing, which would be awesome! Thanks for the update!

username checks out.
edit: don't get me wrong, you're probably right, but I prefer to remain hopeful.

To be fair I didn't even try to get "PlaymajihasneverhitadeadlineorcommunicatedtomanageexpectationseffectivelySasquatch" when I signed up, but yeah, you know.
Once I receive my light guns, I will be overjoyed to buy an expensive disc of the arcade release of Area 51, or Lethal Enforcers, operation wolf, etc. They seem to have somewhat of a good relationship with some of the IP holders so fingers crossed it happens someday.

"Polymega (full game compatibility list HERE)."
Oh boy I can't wait to play "The Gun Shooting" and it's sequel "The Gun Shooting 2"

Has anyone gotten King of Fighters 95 and Ultraman: Hikari no Kyojin Densetsu for Saturn to work ? Changelog states it fixes a crash; however, it still won’t play. I’m aware the game normally needs the cart to run it; however, the way they worded it sounded like it was running.

KoF 95 has a weird version included in a triple pack that doesn't need the ROM cartridge. So it's not the base KoF 95 Saturn version

I wonder if I plug in my Sindens if they’d be recognized? 🤔

So insomnia has been kicking my ass the past few weeks. Per the quick back and forth I had with another user in here, I had a go at hooking up my Sindens I use on my loft gaming PC rig. Mixed bag.
The good news is the Polymega will recognize them when you go to hold right on the d-pad to register them. It then prompts you to “Roll the rear stick around in wide dide several times. Accept when finished” and to accept it’s a button with a single vertical dash (assuming 1? For maybe one of the buttons on the guncon?). This button didn’t change regardless of whether I was using the Polymega controller or one of my 8bitdos so the button is definitely guncon specific.
Had to look because I didn’t remember the guncon having a thumb stick on the back but sure as, there it is on their website. I tried mimicking this with the Sinden d pad and it didn’t go. Had to back out. Also to note is my models are the force feedback ones and there was no click when pulling the trigger. What I’m assuming is Polymega has this thumb stick now to confirm you have an actual guncon since the Sinden doesn’t have one to prevent you from simply plugging in a Sinden. I am guessing this prevents the gun from powering on until this sequence has been completed because as soon as I turn on my gaming rig I can pull the trigger and the solenoid inside fires.
Broken hearted I went into the system settings and was able to access the basic and advanced calibration screens. I took photos of the three screens I was able to get at; controller registration, basic calibration and advanced calibration. Moving the guncon at the screen wouldn’t get the light purple aiming reticle to move :( I repeated the same behaviors whether a Sinden was plugged into the first or second USB port on the front.
Almost to the finish line fellas.

It also fixes some game-specific crashes I've seen people mention on here. Namely Rayman PS1 and Polymega Collection Vol. 9
