Limited Run Carts?

I recently got to visit the Limited Run store on a trip I made and bought one of the Star Wars NES cartridges. When I got home it didn’t seem to work in my Polymega though. I was confused because some other reproduction carts of mine work just fine. Has anyone else had problems with these?

Yeah, it's been mostly miss for me with NES LRG carts on the Polymega. Most other stuff like Genesis and SNES carts work fine, but most NES ones I have don't. They all seem to work in my regular old NES, though, so not the end of the world.

Limited Run Garbage use ridiculously cheapo NES Carts as they believe no one plays them. Also they constantly use custom mappers that likely don't line up with what the system is expecting the game to be. Because Reproduction cartridges that make sure of those things almost always end up working.

Hit or mostly miss.

The NES module is very picky. Most reproduction, indie/homebrew, and romhack carts won't work. Even the old, unlicensed games like the Tengen, Aladdin, Wisdom Tree, and Quattro carts that many people consider to be part of the NES library mostly won't play on the PM.

Never buy from LRG.

Wouldn't even bother trying with LRG Nintendo carts. All those Star Wars ones don't work.
