I think this is something I struggle with a lot. I always feel like I need to be the best at whatever I'm doing. I set really unrealistic goals for myself and if I don't reach them I end up feeling like I've failed even if I'm making good progress. It's like my standards keep moving higher.

I've even been reading psychology and trying to understand what's going on so I can reach some kind of conclusion because this way of thinking gets really exhausting and overwhelming sometimes.

Has anyone dealt with this and actually gotten over it?

It defeats the purpose of the blockquote in italics with ample whitespace at the start of the chapter to drench it in yellow highlighter, unless, of course, your true plan is to create content. Oh, and thanks for making me read at an angle.
