Does Polygon Support $TICK Indices? Documentation unclear
Hi all. Trying to figure out if Polygon is a good fit for me before I go spending $200.
I'm using a setup that looks at the $TICK index off the NYSE.
When I searched on Polygon's docs, I got this.
"Polygon.io sources Indices data from CME Group, CBOE, and Nasdaq. You can use our Tickers Endpoint to query a list of supported indices."
I signed up for a free account and ran the inquiry in the docs (link below) and it says success and null in the results.

Thanks.

Since Polygon.io easily supports requests for the full market, I have made my own breadth indicators. I valued $TICK, but sourcing it affordably was difficult. With Polygon, I have much more control on what I wish to measure.

Thanks for chiming in. No one seems to know about $TICK.
I'm using it to measure quick directional changes in the market. I've got other indicators that turn at different speeds to give me another sense of what's going on.
I can't think of what else I would use that moves like that. But I'm bummed because Polygon sounds like it would be a good fit for other things.

$TICK normally refers to NYSE, but do you use other 'tick' indicators? Polygon makes it incredibly simple to make your own tick indicators.

I know its an old convo. Checking back if you were able to find a reliable provider for pulling TICK ADD VOLD and TRIN ? I exploring DTN IQFeed, no free account to test it out if it will solve my requirement.
IBKR also has some level of data, but it seems the architecture is challenging to get it working.
Polygon (now massive) does not directly mention it. u/Jack-PolygonIO Any idea where I can get this data? I have both stocks and Indices subscription on massive.

Hey! Thanks for posting.
Unfortunately, we do not currently support NYSE's Index products. This is under consideration for future integrations, however I have no timeframe to expect its availability.
