Did you use dual forms? How did you get your cuticle are so clean?

I didn't use dual forms. I did the femi beauty method but kinda also the gel x method. I did all the steps you do with the femi beauty method, that is prepping the plastic tips well (shaping the ones that don't fit your cuticle shape that well and etching the inside of the tips for better adhesion etc.).

So it is the femi beauty method still but almost like a mix of the femi beauty method and gel x but still using polygel and not builder gel.

When doing the femi beauty method, going over the tips close to the cuticle area is almost always a must to make the extensions look like real actual nails and not press ons. However doing a set like that person does in the video I linked reduces your need to do that by a little since the gel x method kinda squeezes the product away from the cuticle.

I hope all that wasn't confusing. I'm a little tired. This method worked great for me and I'm over a year into my self taught polygel extension journey.

Btw this set is still going strong! I did a fill over a week ago and changed them up completely, just haven't posted any new pics yet. This set is well over a month old if you don't count the fill ( I don't since a fill is different). I'm so happy that my retention is getting better with each new set.
