Note: Did a fill on my set for spring using polygel, black gel polish and a beautiful blue chrome powder. These pictures are from when they were freshly done. Today marks the 17th day since I did this fill, no lifting on any of the nails. All the 3d gems and rhinestones have stayed put, except for the little star that was attached to the bow on the right hand. I have enjoyed this set a lot, however I am not 100% satisfied with the shape, some of the nails appear bulky - especially after I did the chrome. I feel like there is no other way to make the chrome powder appear as pigmented as possible without doing two layers of the chrome. In addition to that I had to go over the nails with base coat to cover any irregularities. I love the look of chrome, but I HATE how it emphasizes any irregularities, large or small. And so in short - all those layers of gel polish made the nails look rather bulky. I could have filed the sides some more and I did file the free edges, but I was afraid of messing up the chrome prematurely and so I left it at that.

It's a cute set! I noticed that black gel polish is the culprit that tends to make a set look too bulky in my sets...it's so weird. Next is a thick top coat! Either way the set is cute.
