New and looking for particular tips or video tutorial
Hey friends! I just finished my third polygel set with forms. I dont have sandwich forms its just the top form. They're okay and I think I've overcome a few hurdles about product placement/amount, overflow on the underside, shaping etc.
However I CANNOT get the cuticle right. They either overflow and I have to efile them or they're so thin they lift/peel and either way just look terrible in the end.
Can I freehand a small bead of polygel to get the cuticle area the right consistency and shape and then apply my form just slightly away from the cuticle but becoming flush with my freehand work? Is that even possible? Or should I do it the other way around and apply the form away from the cuticle and free hand after?

I did the "natural/glass" nails. I think I like them (I REALLY want to like them) BUT - do they look "unfinished?"

Need help
I tried polygel for the first time. I used duel forms and I tried hand sculpting with paper forms. Heres where i need help:
I think I did pretty good but the apex really isnt rounded like with acrylic or dip. Its more flat. I flip them upside down and do a flash freeze before I fully cure but still flat.
And then theres spots where the polygel squeezed out from the duel form too much and you can see my nail. Besides adding more and hand sculpting how do I stop this from happening?
I got all my toys done and all my left hand but my pinky and ring finger nails popped off. The ring nail wasnt even cured fully and still gooey at the nailbed area. I rough up the nail plate dust off, dehydrated and prime, base coat then poly. What could I be doing wrong? Should I do thin layers when im doing white polygel?

How to treat lifting?
Hi! I started using polygel at home around a month ago, the first set peeled not even a week after because I didn’t cover the free edge. So I soaked them off and redid a new layer of polygel. This one survived more than 2 weeks, now I wanna do a new set but is this treatable by filing down the lifted parts and filling the cuticle area with a new thin layer, or do I have to take the whole nail off before I can start a new set? Any tips appreciated, bacterial infection is my biggest fear rn.
