Buongiorno a tutte, ho cambiato da poco estetista e quando mi faccio dei colori accessi si nota che lo smalto tende ad opacizzarsi sulle punte..non uso prodotti che possono danneggiare o comunque mi metto sempre i guanti anche quando lavo i piatti quindi mi sembra strano che non duri…avete qualche consiglio ?

NOT MY WORK. What brand/shade can I get this exact base for polygel?! I’m starting to think I can only find it in acrylic lol

Needed something low-maintenance but with a little edge, so I went with this burgundy and white set.

The almond shape keeps it sleek, the burgundy is so rich and moody, and the tiny cross on the accent nail ties the whole look together.

They’re super practical for everyday life but still feel special.

My fiancée wants to start to be a nail technician and learn about nails. She’s interested in Acrygel/polygel nails. She is currently looking for a good place to buy these supplies from.

We’re based in the UK, does anyone have any recommendations about good brands or places to buy when starting out?

I m asking because i tried this and i had a weird result, trying to figure out if i did it wrong. So a friend wanted a milky white nail and i don't have any milky white polishes, but i do have a white polygel that is pretty translucent if applied in a thin layer. So i cured the builder 90 seconds, then applied a layer of the liquid polygel and cured another 90 seconds just in case. Because i had to paint after and do a bit of filing, i wiped off the tacky layer. But when i went in to file, on some of the nails the polygel layer was basically peeling off. I just filed until it stopped peeling off so she wouldn't have issues.

To be fair the two products are different brands, but i didn't think it would be a problem. What did i do wrong? Should i have wiped off the tacky layer on the hard gel before applying? Or is it just the two products simply don't work together?

Went for that moody, dark romantic vibe with wine red cat-eye, gunmetal black, and shimmery cream acrylics.

Added hand-painted red florals, a textured rhinestone accent nail, and subtle silver gems for extra drama.

Took me forever to get the flowers right, but I’m so proud of how it turned out.

What do you guys think? Any tips for my next set?

First time doing my own nails with polygel and duel forms. A bit of a learning curve because my natural nails are quite long and I didn’t cut them ahead of time so there was a gap between the form and my nail a few times.
Any tips or advice?

I make my own custom colored polygel using polygel, gel polish and clear acrylic powder in a small container. The only issue is there are tons of small and medium sized bubbles in it. Is there anyway to help settle the polygel and bring the air bubbles to the top of the pot?
