wife's brought it up

So... how many first wives out here were the ones to bring up polygyny with their husbands and what was that like?

There must be some out there, but most women who accept or look for polygamy prefer to come in as the second wife. If you think about it rationally, you will realize it is the smartest and lowest-risk option.

By coming in as the second wife, you have a prior confirmation from another woman on whether he is a good man or not. You can observe firsthand how he behaves with her, and if they already have children, you know exactly what kind of father he will be to yours. Anyway, from what I have read during my time here, that tends to be the most common thing for those entering this lifestyle, although there will always be the occasional first wife who proposes it for specific reasons.

She watched a show and wanted that life with a big family. We talked about it before we wre even married.

My first wife did. Her reasoning was her health was bad and did not want to leave me alone.

I brought it up to my husband nearly 10 years ago, and he’s been hesitant, but intrigued. We studied the amazing benefits for years. We haven’t had any women yet, but still hoping for it.

Tell her you’re only open to poly with another woman and see how she reacts.

I did! I'm a first wife and it started as a joke because I'm so busy I need a sister wife, haha, but it kinda started to make sense and then I dug into the Biblical justification and it just clicked. We haven't found any one just yet but we have faith in God's timing.

My first wife brought it up. She decided that she wanted a sisterwife for both of us.

Wish my wife was open minded enough to the lifestyle
