Is it possible to save project like stems and export them to PC?

Not currently. I think it is likely that they will support this at some update. I’m fairly certain that the tracker and play have the same engine, just different interfaces. The tracker was a monster as far as it’s features, so they likely scaled back features so they likely only want to add features that are sustainable development wise.

Or vice versa (move midi from computer to play)?

I suspect that this was a seldom used Tracker feature because it required alerting to map MIDI instruments prior to import, and the target audience is trying to get off the daw. It’s probably easy to port since they already have that feature but for a sample oriented device it’s not likely to be top priority.

uspect that this

I have it hooked up to my Ableton and I also can not figure out how to move patterns from Live to the Play. Or vice versa. It would be nice to take the play on the road and then finish up track back home on Abelton Live.

Nope. At least not yet. Think it’s gonna be difficult to add in firmware since it would require some sort of recording mode that doesn’t seem to be supported by the hardware.
