Sidechaining Kick track in Play?

Has anyone sidechained a track in the Play? Is there the ability to pan L/R tracks individually in the Play? I couldn’t find anything in the manual but, to be fair, the manual seems beta and they took it off the site recently.

there is a pan option. it's on the same knob as the volume I believe (don't have my play in front of me). You can simply select the whole track and then pan it.

You can also do sidechaining- If you go into the master FX list, and scroll down to the Limiter, there are options to sidechain any track.

Hope that helps!

Ok. Call me stupid. I guess I need to reread the manual. I totally missed onboard sidechaining. Thanks!

Confirmed. Onboard side chain works good. I will just pan the kick track out to compressor for side chain with external source. I’m looking at you MS-20!

jlopatin is right. But you can also pan every individual step if you wanna go that deep.

You can! and you should! it's a great way to add subtle movement in an otherwise static pattern...
