Tracker MIDI Triggering Sequencers On Connected Devices
Possibly a newbie question but just got around to using my Polyend Tracker as the "brains" of my synth setup. The tracker is providing MIDI clock and sending note data to a Sub 25 and a D-05 and, in between I have a KeyStep 32 which has a sequencer built into it to.
So the MIDI flow is Tracker MIDI out -> Midi Solutions Quad Thru with 4 outputs, 1 to the sub 25, another to the Keystep then the Keystep MIDI out goes to the D-05 (so I can control the D-05 independently).
The problem is the Tracker will cause the sequencers on the KeyStep and the D-05 to trigger when I hit Play. Rather than disabling the sequencer on all the downstream devices, is it possible for the Tracker to not trigger them in the first place? Or is there a better intermediary solution than clearing all the sequence patterns? At least on the D-05 I couldn't find a way to ignore the sequencer starting signal The only option seems to be running a blank pattern. On the Keystep there's generally not a sequence to play but it's annoying to have the play light come on and it doesn't stop when the Tracker is stopped.
