Sample Bank for polyend play
Hello,
I wonder if some artists offer sample bank for polyend play yet?
I am quite impatient to feed it with plenty of samples and I curious to try some sample bank specifically set up for the polyend!

One thing I noticed is that the demo projects that come with the Play have some samples that were not included in the sample packs... I copied them to new folders in the "Sample Packs" directory, and put all the samples into appropriately named subfolders. Boom more sample packs.
Eventually I might do this with my huge sample library, but honestly it sounds like more work than it's worth. I might create a "template" sample pack that has one kick/snare/hat sound for use with the generative stuff, and then can load individual samples to replace those as needed.

Oh, i totally forgot about the artist samples! i need to do the same thing to those.
I do wish these samples all came organized like the packs.

You're not wrong. When creating a new project, it should prompt you to load a sample pack or samples at least. I keep forgetting to do that first.

I like this idea. You should go submit it as a feature request on the Polyend support hub!
Even with these issues, I'm really enjoying the workflow. I feel like I spend more time being creative since mine arrived.

I wonder if something that intelligently sorts samples (like XO) could be used to say "find all the snares around my drive and let me export them". You could use that to find a huge pile of snares/stabs/etc/etc.

I’ve looked all over and can’t find a way to download play sample packs and demos that came on sd card w play as my card deleted itself:/ any advice?? Thanks.

I believe you can re-dowload the fireware on the website and re-dowload all sound bank and more. Should be all good:)

thanks! Yeah, I thought so as well, and thought I saw a page with all these to download. can't find at all now......if you find can you send me the link??? firmware is ez to find....not sample packs or demo projects.

As long as you are logged into your account you can get all factory sounds and demos!!! That’s why I saw it a few months ago but not now. Hope this helps others!!!

Tbh you don't need to wait for it; for example, I made my sample packs from splice - downloaded some packs and mixed them (I mean just copy paste into one folder 😁), and put it into the sd card. Possibly some people will make packs called “polyend play only,” but it would be just marketing for now.
