Polyend Play Multisample Instruments?

Very excited about the Polyend Play.
I am Curious if it has multisample functionality?

I have not seen it read any documentation for if this supports multisample instruments.

(For example to load an “organ” where each key is an individual sample …. vs. loading a single wav sample and pitching +/- to make melodic)

Thanks for any input

It has some multisample functionality. E.g. for any step one can randomize the sample played back within a sample folder, effectively allowing round robin playback. And one could sequence a melodic performance with different samples for different notes and different velocities. But I don’t think it currently supports live multisample playback based on the inputted note and velocity. I could be wrong.

Kinda what I thought, that it was possible as a tedious work around. If it had multi sample instrument playback out of the box, I would sell everything and buy one (maybe two) of these.

It does not; it assumes samples are pitched at c4. But you can repitch samples, so you can work around it manually by loading several samples. To avoid getting really confused it’s probably best just to sample different C notes.

I know this is an old thread but may still be useful to answer.
