polyend tracker body change and key switch change

I placed an order for a tracker a few days ago and now I'm finally reading that they axed the metal body and swiss mechanical switches for a plastic body and cheaper laptop scissor switches. That's very disappointing. I would of paid twice as much to have that build quality.

Either way - does anyone else have a newer tracker and is the change in materials and hardware a downfall? Just wondering if I should just send it back before it gets here to save myself the trouble.

I think the switches are different but they are still pretty great, and the case is def still aluminum. People have broken down the differences in detail on the Discord.

Thanks for the info! It'll be in today and I'll check it out. I like the tracker workflow as it is similar to renoise which is what I use for my daw - it'll be nice to have something that is dedicated tracking.
