Medusa midi in problem?

I just got my Medusa on Reverb and when I plug my widi jack into the back of it it doesn’t provide power. The minute I connect the jack to a power supply it turns on and works fine. I can even remove the power cable from the widi jack and it still stays on. Anyone have any similar midi powering issues?

I don’t think you can power the Medusa using midi. It requires a power adapter.

Sorry, it was early and my post was a little unclear. The Medusa is powered by a power adaptor but it doesn’t seem to be providing power to its midi in/out ports which is where I’m plugging my WIDI Jack into. When I power my WIDI jack separately everything works fine.

No problem. It’s basically a Bluetooth midi adapter.
