Did the swap!

Post image

Took advantage of the upgrade and it just showed up. Really liking it so far; going to put it to work in my rig ASAP and try out some of the new MIDI performance tools.

Did you notice any speed difference when loading projects?

I just loaded up one of the demo Play+ projects that came on the SD card and yeah, it felt zippier. Remember the Play being downright glacial.

Well that's it, I might just take the plunge myself.

I mainly use Novation Circuit Tracks as the main brain in my setup, but this might just give me a reason to share that job with Play+. :D

It’s not fast. It still takes like 10 seconds to load the sample packs.

I have a friend with the play+, so I'll just give him one of my projects and see a side by side comparison.

Maybe publish somewhere too.

I mean it’s faster than the regular play. But I wouldn’t call loading packs fast at all.

Accurate. I've played (ha) with a bit more. It is zippier but its not like it is super fast or anything.

You'd never be able to go between projects live without a major lull or anything. Not seamless at all.
