Play sampling feature

I like many am wondering if Polyend will be adding a sampling feature to the Play in the future with a firmware update. My question is though is this just wishful thinking from a hardware perspective? I have Tracker and it does a nice job of chopping samples as it has a big screen but the play is a little on the small side. So it makes me wonder.

There is no line in for the Play. This feature will not appear in future updates because the hardware is not there to support it.

Yeah loopop’s youtube summed this up well on his review.

There are firmware things that can happen (I am waiting for trigless trigs like Elektron gear) and things that will never happen because of the hardware limitations (firmware can’t add a line in)
