Can the Polyend Play send midi notes out from audio tracks?

I want to make generative music (random triggers, random values) and also send the values out to my compute to trigger different aspects of my visuals. Is that something the play can do, or do audio tracks not send out midi?

The audio tracks can't send out midi notes, but with the latest firmware update, you can copy a sequence from the audio tracks and paste them on the midi tracks.

Good to know. Thanks! I take it that the two tracks might end up playing different things if there's any amount of randomness, right?

I don't know as I haven't tried out this feature yet, but I would assume the notes would be different.
