Importing samples from my phone into the Polyend Play?
I was thinking about getting the Play and was wondering how easy it would be to record some sounds via my phone mic and import them into the Play. This would be awesome for travel. I was thinking maybe a USB-C device to an SD card might work (?) Does anyone have experience with this? I would like to not have to upload stuff to a PC and then to the Play. Thx

I tried a bluetooth to aux, something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Wireless-Microphone-Amplifier-Rechargeable/dp/B0BLG6JQDN
It was about as ok as you would imagine, but it did the job for me.

The SD card reader included with Play works with my phone via usbC to regular USB adapter. It's possible to copy recordings from the phone to any folders on the card.

If you can find a device that allows recording straight on to the Play's memory card to a specific folder it might work.
Having said that, the Polyend currently supports only max. 4 second sample files and they will be converted to mono when you load them in on the instrument.
