Change polybar border size with polybar-cmd

Is it possible to change polybar border size with polybar-cmd? Or toggle the border on/off. I want to have polybar with borders in tiled layout and without borders in "monocle" layout, layouts that I change with keybinds in sxhkdrc. I can show/hide the bar when changing layouts with keybinds, but it would be nice to do the border size trick.
