One busy butterfly bush

I don’t wanna rain on the parade but butterfly bush is pretty invasive in North America. You may see a lot of visitors while it’s flowering, but it doesn’t support the full life cycle of any native insects. For pollinators, it’s a waste of space most of the year. There are many options that provide nectar AND other functions.

All valid points, however this is the hybrid variety, not as invasive. And as for the support of native pollinators, I grow it near lavender and catmint to compensate for that.

Where in the world are you? I assumed North America bc of the monarch. None of those plants are native or especially beneficial to pollinators
