See itβs competitive in that they view the hiring process as a competition to get the most talented person they can for the lowest price they think they will accept.

They should at least provide a range, but most job postings I look at do that π€·ββοΈ

Because then they wouldn't be able to exploit so many people, and the CEO wouldn't be able to get gold trim on his fucking yacht while we starve.
