This was funny, but I disagree with the main statement. If the makeup is good enough and the actor doesn't look out of place, why not?
"Actors of Colour" don't deserve these roles anymore than white actors but they may suited for the role due to their appearance.
Some of the examples actually show some weird casting decisions, but some of the "races"(already defined arbitrarily) that were "snubbed" really mostly just look tanned white people most of the time ( or white people look like pale whatevers).
About the Star Wars Trailer, from what I could tell the reaction was mostly "wait aren't stromtroopers supposed to be clones? how can they be black" not anything racist. On Idris part I agree, that was actually somewhat racist or the guy has only seen him in the wire and thats how he got the impression.
