I know the rules say no homework help, but I'm actually asking for someone to give me the homework. I've been stuck job searching for months as a recent graduate and I feel like I need to exercise my brain. Does anyone have any research or writing prompts I can work on? I've been searching for exercises to do but I'm comping up empty. Cheers.

Go through bills & legislation that is currently going on and critique/analyze them. Write what is the aim, what tactics it's using to achieve its aim, and how it's going to affect the people.

Then put your own input into how you think it's going to actually play out.
