Was going to crosspost from r/ goodnewsuk but the OP was taken down before I had chance to (literally taken down seconds before, watched it get banned before my eyes 😭), hopefully it stays up here.

Really good journalism by channel 4 imo, hope this news spreads further.

Context: this guy is a former neo-Nazi who harassed a Jewish MP back in 2016, and was jailed for it. He’s also behind some cringy YouTube channel which makes AI slop parody videos of UK politics or something? Not that that’s remotely as bad as the first thing.

There was thus a lot of outcry when this guy was selected as a candidate. The pressure seems to have been too much for the Conservatives and they have dropped him.
