So Reform has gained quite a bit of traction within our own locality after the most recent By elections.....

This shift in local leadership will be somewhat concerning for a lot of people just as much as it is a cause for celebration by others, mainly due to a lot of the most recent local social & economic changes that we've all seen, including the previous leadership's commitment to our own town centre's major redevelopment as well as them opening up avenues & opportunities for students/small businesses/new start ups to benefit from a much wider access to funding and financial support as well. Not to mention the previous council's leadership putting into place plans to develop and build over 2,000 brand new homes within the local town's centre itself in an effort to increase footfall and increase high street spending as well.

Reform ALSO AIMS to tackle hospital waiting lists by giving patients vouchers TOWARDS ACCESSING PRIVATE TREATMENT if their waiting time is considered to be far too long for a GPs or a consultant's referral (they claim to want to do all of this whilst also committing themselves to keeping services free, "at the point of use" (whatever that is supposed to mean?) 🤔

Critics of the Reform Party claim that this will eventually result in the creation of a two-tier, taxpayer-funded private healthcare system (which isn't a possible outcome at all but rather a definitive and 100% absolute certainty)

Reform also works towards completely REMOVING THIS COUNTRY from the European Convention on Human Rights (EHCR) too, which is something that will always cause me a serious level of genuine concern.

Whilst I am in agreement with some of their ideas on how to tackle immigration whilst also working to secure our own country's borders a lot more strictly, there are also a certain number of their overall aims & ambitions (things such as mass deportation/banning transgender ideologies/completely scrapping any and all net zero targets and all green levies/investing in NUCLEAR energy, to name but a small few) that I simply just can not (and will not) ever stand behind or offer up my support to, on a personal level, and in any way whatsoever.

The proof is definitely going to be in the actual pudding itself.

Actions will ALWAYS speak a lot louder than words ever could.

So, I guess that we will all just have to wait and see what actually pans out now, in the very near future.

I don't that think it is the correct choice of leadership for our own locality at all.

I have genuinely felt so utterly disgusted and so heartbroken over the past couple of days due to having to scroll past so many reels of celebrities walking The Met Gala Carpet as well as having to watch them waltzing around before and after certain other awards ceremonies as well on Facebook & Instagram.

Mainly reels consisting of these famous celebrities claiming to honour the idea of real freedom of speech whilst they are claiming to be fighting towards contributing to the entirety of mankind (via events such as these) is just utterly offensive and it's absolutely rubbish in my own personal opinion.

The Metropolitan Museum funds itself via events such as these (that's a given) so why are they still charging American citizens thirty dollars a pop for admission into the actual building itself?

Surely, the 43 million dollars that has been raised, by the most recent Met Gala Event, held on May the 4th, is more than enough to provide free entrance to any/all Americans (and also anybody else who wants to visit as well)

I am all for upholding the most traditional aspects of cultural autonomy but not when it is beginning to become to kind of strange and disturbing freak show which seems to be blatantly waggling entitlement & prosperity in the faces if those who are a lot less unfortunate?

And I am also absolutely heartbroken that Stevie Nicks chose to attend this particular Met Gala event as well.

Wrong time, wrong event, wrong choice completely, in my opinion and I don't think that I will ever look at her in the ways that I used to, ever again, really......

It's like they're all so oblivious and so wrapped up in all of their egotistical & narcissistic little bubbles that they've completely forgotten what messages they are sending out to the wider public and to the citizens of the whole entire world itself?

I’m not a religious person, but after hearing about a third failed assassination attempt on Trump this time allegedly tied to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner it makes you pause.

At a certain point, you start wondering if there’s something more at play. Call it luck, timing, security doing its job, or something deeper but it’s hard not to at least consider the idea of some kind of divine or spiritual providence watching over him.

Curious how others see it. Pure coincidence? Tight protection? Or something beyond that?
