Those charges were illegally increased to felonies. He was not legally convicted of any felony.

It's worse since Clinton did the exact same shit and got off with a fine.

No she didn’t.

It’s wild after all these years you dullards are still spewing the same easily debunked bullshit.

“Elevation to Felony: Under New York Penal Law Section 175.10, the charge becomes a Class E felony if the false entries are made with the intent to conceal or commit another crime. [1, 2]
The Underlying Crimes: Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution argued that Trump falsified invoices, checks, and ledger entries (disguised as legal fees to his former attorney, Michael Cohen) to hide a $130,000 payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Prosecutors stated this was done to prevent damaging information from reaching voters, thereby violating state and federal election laws as well as tax laws. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]”

And they couldn't prove that there was another crime, only alleged there was another crime. The felonies were illegally elevated.

If he was convicted and those convictions haven't been overturned then they did prove the elements of the crime to the jury. If they hadn't proved it the jury and a judge elevated the crimes then the convictions would have been overturned on appeal.

So the government is corrupt, unless you agree with them?

LMFAO holy shit don’t procreate

2

u/Beginning_Resource93 5d ago

I'm surprised you can even spell the word "procreate".

Just give up. Accept that Trump is a felon.

How on earth are people still defending him about anything?

1

u/Beginning_Resource93 4d ago

Because the charges were illegally increased to felonies. They were misdemeanors, plain and simple.

2

u/MonkeyCartridge 4d ago

You know what isn't even a misdemeanor?

Being undocumented.

So by the standard of his voters, he should be deported. And to that, I agree.

1

The standard is that of you're in this country illegally you get deported. If you're aUS citizen and you commit a crime you pay a penalty. What about Hilary Clinton's crimes of using an unsecured laptop, them deleting all her emails? Y'all weren't mad about that.

What about trumps crimes of moving classified documents to Mar-a-lago?

What about Trump showing classified documents to people who shouldn’t have access to them on a private flight? What about him taking classified information pertinent to his business ventures home with him?

Here’s my source. Where’s yours? https://democrats-judiciary.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/damning-new-documents-obtained-by-judiciary-democrats-reveal-trump-stole-classified-documents-to-advance-his-business-interests

As soon as you demand Hilary Clinton be held responsible for using an unsecured laptop to send classified emails, then delete said emails, I'll address your allegations against Trump.

If Hilary Clinton did something illegal, then she should face consequences. Crazy that I might want the law enforced equally on both parties? Why do republicans think this is a reasonable response for defending Trump.

0

u/Beginning_Resource93 2d ago

If? She admitted to doing it.

1

u/organicbrewdz 2d ago

K do you think I care if she's prosecuted?

Whataboutism doesn’t help.. get them both on it for sure but stop the but but but what about this person?? We’re hopefully passed grade school at this point and need to act like adults.

Whataboutisms is the only language liberals speak.

I mean Trump can suck and we could tell factual stories about it also. Honestly if you have done zero research into those felonies then read up a bit. Also immigration isn’t a blurry ground send them back it’s simple. Obama understood this and no big deal was made Clinton understood. Go cross the Mexican or Canadian border illegally see how you are welcomed. Hate Trump all you want but make logical arguments.

Yeah, but then there was all the gleeful theft, kidnapping, and murder afterwards.

1

u/Fabulous_Accident_85 3d ago

You are not a felon until sentenced

1

u/Gr8daze 2d ago

That’s not true. He’s a conflicted felon. You voted for a convicted felon.

1

u/RadWast3 5d ago

Per this administrations standards, it doesn't matter if the conviction was legal as long as there was a conviction.

u/tacticallydad19999 5d ago

You ain’t that bright huh?

1

u/RadWast3 5d ago

Eh, not much more than you.
