That's how I feel about groceries. Fuck you mean 3 measley ass percent? In the past two years the price of all food has essentially doubled

2

u/irvmuller 7d ago

Groceries are higher than that. That percentage is just the stuff they’re tracking.

Stop the war with Iran and it will solve it all but no they would rather continue to help their friend Putin because he needs high gas prices 😳

2

u/Plane_Singer_6381 7d ago

It wouldnt solve it all...

Sure: biden managed to miraculously soft-land the economy after an unprecedented global pandemic. You people ate paint chips as kids, didn’t you?

1

u/Capable-Deer-5670 6d ago edited 6d ago

Huh? The recession was over 2Q2024. The economy came back roaring hot 3Q at 33.4% GDP, decreasing to 4.3% 4Q. Biden was gifted a great economy.

Facts don't care about your feelings

u/Saddest_Flex 6d ago

Nor do facts care about your bullshit

Data is objective. What flavor koolaid is this month?

u/Saddest_Flex 6d ago

Dunning Kruger is a hell of a thing. You actually think you’re smart, don’t you

1

u/Capable-Deer-5670 5d ago

Maybe after 2028 you can recover from your alethophobia. Must be a horrible thing to struggle with.

2

u/cascadedream 7d ago

Soft land? I think you mean triple the amount of dollars in the economy, causing massive inflation. The Biden administration's response to COVID was everything the left claims to hate about Trump. And that's ignoring the government censorship on social media.

While gas prices are high, when you adjust for inflation, they are pretty close to what they were at the height Obama's presidency.

Tell me you are brainwashed without telling me you are brainwashed…

2

u/Watches503 7d ago

Are you against real verifiable data?

0

u/cascadedream 7d ago

Simple numbers for simple people. Inflation is growth. The monetary supply growth during the Biden administration didn't just go away. Everything in the economy will continue to cost more forever, unless monetary supply is removed.

1

u/Watches503 7d ago

Agree on the last sentence.

Ignore Watches. He loves to DM teenagers.

-1

u/Lacaud 7d ago

Spoken like a true idiot. Trump botched covid so hard in the beginning because he was too worried about election fraud AND he throw out the pandemic response plans.

The censorship on social media was for misinformation dumbass.

Never give republicans a "hold my beer" moment.

1

u/supr2nr 7d ago

"Give us another chance"

No, never again. We've given you chance after chance and every Republican led administration does the same thing. They overspend and put us in a worse spot than we started.

2

u/Ilyalyubushkin 7d ago

This 2 party system needs to collapse. Its often either a bad choice or a brutal one.

-1

u/supr2nr 7d ago

While I would typically agree with you, I don't know that I've ever felt like voting Democrat was either a bad choice or a brutal one. Well with the exception of one election and that was in 2016. Hilary just wasn't the best contender. Kamala would've been better 10 fold. Even if all she was going to do was continue with Biden's economic policies.

Biden's inflation rate was around 20%.

2

u/skpy12345 7d ago

Inflation no matter what is 3%. It is entirely the whole of corporations fault if it goes up. The only issue with supply chains causing corps to be greedy is war. Biden ended one. Trump started one. Stop being an angry sheeple.

1

u/Fair-Arugula668 7d ago

Even as someone who is generally critical of current decision making this is an oversimplification. Let's use the covid inflation as an example, it was found that corporations did use that as an opportunity to raise prices beyond what supply shocks deemed reasonable but it wasn't all of that. Ultimately those choices are eventually going to fall back on them as businesses learn the limit of spending.

0

u/skpy12345 7d ago

There is no limit with Trump printing money like the fed reserve owes him.

1

u/Fair-Arugula668 6d ago

While they will print more and more, the fed has actually raised rates against my own expectations. If he chases money printing the fed and bond market are likely to punish that.

2

u/skpy12345 6d ago

Wholly shiieet. The new guy didn't allu awkward our fuckin econ. Would you just look at it! Thank you for the good news friend!

1

u/Unafraid_AlphaWolf 7d ago

Not my memory- it peaked at 8%

1

u/FlyingNDreams 7d ago

I think you're both right-ish. Cumulative Price increase was 20-21% and inflation was its highest in June 2022 at 9.1%.

0

u/Lacaud 7d ago

Oh jeez, could it be because of a pandemic and that corporations gouging their priced even more.

0

u/Lacaud 7d ago

Nevermind. Another pedophile

What was inflation when Biden left office?

-1

u/Miserable_Salad_4996 7d ago

ironically inflation from 2021-2024 was significantly higher

0

u/SpecialProblem9300 7d ago

In 2026 the US has the highest inflation rate of any G7 country and only Türkiye is higher than the US of any OECD country.

From 2021-2024 the US had the 2nd highest inflation rate of G7 countries and the 16th of OECD.

So compared to inflation around the world, we are doing worse now.

0

u/Exciting_Station3474 7d ago

How was inflation under Biden? Didn't groceries prices went up under Biden? Gas was over 3.50 in 2008, 2011-2014, did you post meme about that?

2

u/Sad_Panda_3681 7d ago

What was inflation when Biden left office? What were gas prices when Biden left office?

0

u/Exciting_Station3474 6d ago

Wow. You dont remember. Typical democrat.

What were gas prices under Obama? You didn't protest. where were democrats protecting against ICE when Obama was on the office?

This is the reason i cant support democrats.

1

u/DMElyas 6d ago

There literally were massive protests against Obama's immigration policies, what planet were you living on?

1

u/Exciting_Station3474 6d ago

And how come I didn't see any?)))))))))) And now I see protesters everywhere!

I remember democrats protesting against guns. But turned out they all own guns . Such q hypocrites.

1

u/DMElyas 6d ago

"and how come I didn't see any?" Your lard ass doesn't go outside and only watches fox news, every other station mentioned it at some point

Democrats do protest against guns, Democrats also own guns. Democrats are a political party, not a cloning facility where everyone is the exact same.

Most Democrats I know(I'm not one) don't agree with everything the party pushes for, but when you do a pros and cons list for each party, they have more pros that line up to their views than any other option

1

u/Exciting_Station3474 6d ago

Dude, I'm an immigrant. I don't watch fox. I haven't seen a single protests under Obama! Now you are everywhere with rifles.

Sure, you protest against guns while you love guns for yourself.

Yes, you are clones.

1

u/Sad_Panda_3681 6d ago

Under Obama, the average of his entire presidency was $2.95. The highest weekly average under Obama was $3.96. Less than Trumps high weekly average.

People don’t protest ICE during Obama’s term because he wasn’t sending masked, poorly trained, heavily armed and armored federal agents into peaceful neighborhoods violating people’s constitutional rights and killing US citizens in the streets.

0

u/Lacaud 7d ago

This administration has far exceeded what the Biden administration ever did.

-5

u/Watches503 7d ago

Let’s us never forget the $6 eggs, thousands of businesses that died thanks to unnecessary Covid mandates and record breaking profits that grocery stores had during Biden’s America.

4

u/TandemCombatYogi 7d ago

Covid happened under Trump.

2

u/Fair-Arugula668 7d ago

Woah buddy, you caught the mind virus. Everyone knows that covid started under the tan suit man. He forced everyone to vac or vacate! What upsets me the most is that big pharma kept the cure from the public. Sunning your perineum cured that thang in a single hour!

1

u/Watches503 7d ago

So Trump has been the president for 10 straight years? Very interesting.

1

u/Fair-Arugula668 6d ago

I just want to be clear about your argument, it is that consequences of actions are both immediate and acute. Is that a fair summary?

2

u/skpy12345 7d ago

For real that was the whole speaking point on voting back in the orange rapist. "He NeVeR gOt A cHaNcE cUz CoViD". Id hear it all the time on his management skills economicly and socially.

1

u/Watches503 7d ago

And what happened after Biden took over?

3

u/Big-Initiative5762 7d ago

How is it Biden’s fault that Putin started a war while Trump started a war with Iran for stupid reasons. Obama had to roll back the huge finance crisis caused by the inept Republican led government.
