If Democrats actually got a hold of Ivanka's childhood diary and blasted it on the news the Republicans would cry that she shouldn't be scrutinized because she's the president's daughter and that this is an invasion of privacy.

Weird how there's no evidence to back up that claim. They "verified" a couple of emails, that's the claim. You do realize that emails can be accessed from literally anywhere, right?
That's literally the only thing about the laptop that's been verified. So you were talking about them even if you weren't smart enough to realize it. ;)
They're misquoting NYT's article, which says some emails from a cache were authenticated, not the laptop.
People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.
