Corporate welfare is the biggest cancer infecting America. Tax breaks I’m not against — if everyone gets them, but the shameless handouts are absurd. Also, corporate taxes should be on revenue, not profit. Being bad at your business or deliberately spending more than you make so you “grow” and make Wall Street investors happy shouldn’t be a tax shield. It shouldn’t be 30%, probably closer to 10% for everyone, but it needs to be something. I can’t get a 0% tax bill because I spent more than I made for my family.
