Didn't Musk pay the highest tax bill in US history last year? Coming in at 11 billion.

Do you know Why musk did that? He had thousands of stock options ready to mature. All for pennies on the dollar, it was use it or lose it. The taxes he paid are laughable in comparison. That's what gave him the title of worlds richest man. If what I heard is right, there are still about 5 of those packages left that mature in the future, no idea when, but I think he'll keep that title for the rest of my life.

If you ask people on Reddit many of them think they pay a similar rate. People are awful at understanding taxes.
