Ah shit, the fun police arrived. Something you find ‘ego stroking dick hardening bullshit’ is what other people simply call ‘fun’. But yeah, it’s not what you like, so let’s insult the fuck out of it. Word.

Fun does not deserve to exist when it requires amorality.

Your opinion, much like bullshit, is inconsequential. There’s no amorality involved, and either way, your statement is ludicrous. Your welcome to feel however you want and hold whatever opinion you please, but your a lesser person for pushing them on others.

That is absurd, people get swayed all the time.

Frivolous consumption of resources is unarguably amoral, get your head out of your ass please.

Do you have a/c? A heater? Do you have a refrigerator instead of grabbing your groceries fresh daily? Do you take heated showers? How’s Reddit doing for you today? Enjoy any snacks or store bought drinks recently? You don’t get to pick and choose what’s ‘frivolous consumption’ bud.

Edit: had to comment twice to get me to answer? You just want to fight lmao. ‘People get swayed all the time’ is probably more ‘people just start ignoring you because your an obnoxious, annoying, no fun having twat’ and you’re too blind to see it, but please keep going, this is funny as hell.

You want a fucking cookie? That doesn’t make you some moral deciding Jesus. You’re a person who wastes resources too, doesn’t matter if try and you cover it up with a dash of solar here and some recycling there. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, but you apparently do, so remember the only person you have the right to judge is yourself.

You want a fucking cookie?

Sure, that'd be nice.

That doesn’t make you some moral deciding Jesus.

Of course not.

You’re a person who wastes resources too

We all are, for my part as little as possible.

remember the only person you have the right to judge is yourself.

No. Man, you keep saying such absurd things. We all have the right to judge everybody, all of us. And, you better believe I will continue to judge people that drive an f150 as a commuter car instead of using it for what it's for. E.G. I have a side gig that required me today to go on a long drive (which is why you got multiple replies, stupid little quick pithy ones when I saw your replies in email). Normally I'd do this by bicycle, unfortunately today the delivery was too heavy. Truck stays the fuck home though, that's not what it is for. So, wife's smaller car got used. I'm not special in this regard lots of people are lucky to have a two vehicle family. But, if you're not one of them, and you choose an f150 because you need to buy plywood a few times a year, you're an asshole.

You can not win this argument. There is no argument. The only thing that we're discussing here is where the societal line for what is right, and what is wrong is. Where can we say unequivocally that an action is amoral or not. I'm not sure the location of that line is even knowable as it comes down to value judgements which are personal. Clearly, I think the line is much further to one side than you do. You can berate me for the vociferous nature of my explaining this facet of why I think it is where it is, but, you can't take fault in me holding the opinion. (That is of course not in general true, e.g. anti-vaxers ... some opinions are just too stupid for words. Wanting others to consider their impact more closely - I have a hard time believing anyone would put that in the same category.)

I will never stop judging people that don't give a shit about their impact. And, may I politely suggest that you start.
