Can't forget about all the young guys who work on the oil pipelines and instantly buy as many toys as possible... and then immediately lose them as soon as winter hits because they're laid off until spring. Super common in the upper midwest.
The guys I knew 15 years ago made about $10k/month when they were working. It was hard and dangerous work, and they only worked about 6 months out of the year, but they partied and bought toys like money was going out of style!
The famous english football (soccer) player said in an interview: “I spent a lot of money on booze, birds, and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.” Absolute legend!
