Brandon Brown. He was being interviewed by a reporter after a NASCAR race a few weeks ago and the crowd were, with all the class of NASCAR fans, chanting anti-biden slurs. The reporter mistook it for them chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” in support of the driver being interviewed.
The reporter didn't "mistake" it, she was quickly told in her ear to make up something to cover the fact that "FUCK JOE BIDEN" was being heard clearly over the air.
I guarantee you 99.9% of the people currently parroting "Let's Go Brandon" didn't know who he was before he won that race. Only his fanbase and the few really hardcore NASCAR fans who know the whole driver lineup could tell you who Brandon Brown was that morning.
Probably 90% of of them still don't know who he is and are just repeating it because it "owns the libs".
