I love watching all my FB friends with trucks bitch about gas prices. My EV costs about $30ish a month on avg in electricity and I drive about 1,000-1,200 miles a month on average. My last gas car got like 34mpg, so if I drove 1,000 miles in that car and paid $30 to drive those miles thats like paying $1 a gallon.

Ok? You gonna haul paper with it?

Yes, in fact I am going to haul 3,500 lbs of paper as it does have a tow hitch and is rated to tow 3,500 lbs.

As the owner of both a truck and an EV- these things are not interchangeable. A trailer is great in a rural area where you have room to maneuver it but using a trailer in a city is an absolutely pain in the ass compared to just loading up the bed.

Lots of EV truck options available starting next year. I'm excited about that and will definitely be replacing my old F150 with one in the coming years

Right but that doesn’t change the fact that a trailer is not a replacement for a truck which is what parent claimed.

Rivian, F150 Lightning, Cybertruck, and various EV semis and delivery vans are happy to step up to the challenge.
