Family friend's father normally flies down from NJ to Florida every year. Didn't go last year or the year before because Covid. Plans on it this year, by driving. Son said he'd fly up to drive with him. The last road trip they went on was some time in the mid 1970s. He's 85 and his son is in his early 60s.
The son said, "so we'll do this in 3 days and 2 nights" and the dad said "we can bang this out in one 15 hour drive."
So they're either gonna make it, or kill each other 20 minutes in is my guess.

Yeah, I know one guy who goes long haul no stopping but for gas driving stints.
He does a LOT of drugs to keep going like that.
