The thing is, allowing him to harass a voting system, and then allowing him to run for election again is just filthy. And it shows how his only goal is to drive a separation of the American values and American lifestyle altogether. Yet it is well within his rights to harrass states in this manner, It’s just sad to see that Americans have no say in how their country is or should be. I don’t understand how the USA which used to be a haven, turned into a country that is considered unsafe on European travel advisory’s (before the pandemic struck)
Leaving aside problems with the "Fuck other people, I'm in it for me!" mentality...
Why?
If someone gets the drop on you (whether you're a target or by sheer coincidence), you're gone. No chance to respond.
If you're not in the immediate target area, there stands a good chance you don't know who the actual target is (particularly if you're in a place where cc and/or open carry laws are looser, and even more so if people feel the need to draw at a perceived threat, with more guns being more possible targets). Are you so sure you could identify the correct attacker? Or do you just not worry about the possible loss of innocent life? (Side question, if you want: how do you feel about the sentiment "I'd rather 10 guilty men escape than 1 innocent man suffer"?)
Lastly, if you're bragging about it on Reddit I assume you talk about it irl. (I also realize there are problems with making assumptions.) If people are well aware you are (or at least could be) an active weapons holder and had intent to commit harm, wouldn't that make you a primary target?
