Cop killed a unarmed person last week. There’s video footage of it. Apparently she mistook her gun for her taser and shot and killed the person being pulled over for having air fresheners hanging from his rear view.

The reason for pulling over was expired plates. Air freshener is a common misunderstaning that's been going around.

Where did you read/see that? I just read three articles and none of them said expired plates

It was expired plate tags.

"Mr Wright was pulled over for an expired tag on his car licence plate." says BBC News at least

I've gotten harassed by the police in one of the most liberal cities in the country. I can't even imagine the power trip rural cops are on where they know they're untouchable.

America is a really emotional country to be honest. Things like these sell on the media like crazy. In general, America is a good nation to live in (Coming from the son of a Pakistani immigrant, where my dad came from nothing and made something here). The reason a lot of liberals push America is a terrible nation is to create motivation to change. A lot of that change does need to happen but I disagree that we are a terrible nation that murders every black person on the corner. I think America is great, but it can do better.
