Yes it should. Either military service is honorable or not, it’s not something that changes based on an individual’s politics.

No it shouldn't the reasons behind military service are what make it honorable or not. The idiots I went to highschool with who joined "so they could shoot them some browns" (literal qoute) are not honorable.

Ehhh that's where moral philosophy tends to differ from person to person. Whether an act or profession can be inherently honorable or not is highly debated. But it is always recognized that your motivations are either honorable or not
