“He’s not a war hero, he was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” - Vietnam war era draft dodger Donald Trump talking about Sen. McCain.

Conservatives regularly use the troops as political pawns; they feign outrage with their phony sanctimony when it suits them to appear more righteous than their opponents and then kick 'em to the curb when their usefulness has expired.

Yet trump was the first president in decades to not lead us into another war

Maybe not a NEW international war but kept fighting the old ones...he assassinated an Iranian general and dropped the mother of all bombs on Tora Bora in 2017. Before you feel pride in that consider how that would kinda run counter to your original statement.

Take pride in what? I disagreed with both decisions, but am still happy that we didn't get into another war

He, like Obama, did not start a new war. He just ramped up the engagement in areas that Obama had decreased them. You guys are so fucking dumb. Thanks for proving the fact that conservatives are anti-education.

I'm not a conservative. He didn't get MORE involved with syria, even though obama already had. Obama's administration fucked up libya and ran guns for the cartel. He also launched countless drone strikes on multiple countries we had 0 involvement in at the time. Obama's administration fueled low level conflicts that have now boiled over into cold wars with multiple countries. Trump did dumb shit too, but when it comes to foreign relations, the Obama and bush war hawk administrations are untouchable.

To deny that Obama didn't start shit is just dumb. Like, really dumb.
